Why does a small Phantom Blade Zero patch need so much free space?
Patch download size and required free space are different. The launcher may verify, replace or rebuild installed files and temporarily store working files, so it can require more space than the patch download.
Which drive to check
Locate the installed game, check free space on that SSD and read the launcher’s current space requirement. Do not judge it solely by the download size.
Free the space requested by the launcher and retry. Prioritize replaceable downloads when cleaning up and preserve saves and personal files.
Download complete does not mean update complete
During verification, installation or unpacking, watch disk activity. Disk processing affects the wait; repeatedly pausing a download does not supply missing free space.
