Crimson Forest
Rescue Quick Hand Zhang, explore the bandit tunnels, solve Mirrorwood and prepare for Bai Chilian.

Progression route
The old road and bridge
Follow 荒废官道 to 远眺庞镇之桥. Defeat Hua Qianxiao for 痴者残剑; descend beneath the bridge for 沸酒酿.
The bandit camp
Rescue the caged merchant at 挂笼小道. Explore both sides of 亡命徒陷阱, then continue past 荆野 to the camp and 玉儿.
Enter Mirrorwood
Beyond 赤蛇屋 and 悬崖山舍, continue to 镜林入口. Defeat 铁狂, then explore the tunnel, dragon pillar and 遗冢地.
Six memory flowers
Collect 弹奏, 病重, 金玉阁, 不速之客, 移魂秘典 and 新生 before the Bai Chilian encounter. At the three mirrors, follow the one emitting crying.
Side quests
Rescue Quick Hand Zhang
- From 挂笼小道, follow the cliff into the cave and take the uphill right fork to the lowering mechanism.
- Descend to the cage and release him. His forest hideout is in the cave on the raised platform left of the bandit camp.
盗亦有道: dialogue answers
- At 亡命徒陷阱, go right, defeat the mounted enemy and take the left fork. Defeat the enemies around the fire for 飞贼“滑溜手”的血书.
- Speak to 玩世不恭的飞贼 in the house on the right after entering the bandit camp.
- Choose 偷了员外的玉带 → 蝴蝶 → 血书并未提及，似是下落不明. The reward is 屏息绑带.
- Collect the reward before defeating Bai Chilian at the forest finale.
Find all four injured thieves
- Accept 林中伤患 from 玉儿 at the camp. The first thief is on the left inside the tunnel reached by turning right twice from 亡命徒陷阱.
- Collect 血色森林坑道开关 beyond that tunnel, open the passage at the junction and descend. Cross the wooden bridge, turn right, then follow the left wall beyond the butcher for the second thief.
- At 悬崖山舍, collect the cellar switch upstairs and enter below. Follow the lower platforms to 飞贼营地地牢钥匙; the third thief is beyond the exit door.
- Use that key on the locked door ahead of the bandit-camp bell. Treat the fourth thief near the cave entrance, then return to 玉儿 for 静心小葫芦.
- Collect the reward before defeating Bai Chilian at the forest finale.
白山密闻: the forest cellar
- After 荆野, speak to the blue-clad disciple on the wooden bridge.
- Collect 血色森林山舍地窖开关 upstairs at 悬崖山舍. Enter the cellar and search the room beside the lower wooden bridge for 血色森林山舍机关密室开关.
- Unlock the inner chamber and speak to the injured disciple. The next stage requires the later key to 正道大营.
Doors, barriers & return trips
Open the underground passage
From the bell, turn right twice beyond the rider. The switch is beside the butcher at the far end of the tunnel. Return to the junction to operate the entrance.
Choose the right mirror
Listen for crying and enter the mirror producing that sound.
Return to the camp dungeon
Obtain Bastion Shield from the gatekeeper in Village of Lu, then return to the lower dungeon passage for 机簧护心镜.
Reach the forest banyan challenge
From 迷雾消散处 Bell, drop down and turn right toward the large tree. Interact to start a sequence of enemy waves, ending with another 荆野 encounter. Defeat the waves before continuing the memory-flower route.
Return with shield, fire and cannon
Use Bastion Shield in the lower bandit-camp prison to pass the arrow traps toward 机簧护心镜. Return to 赤蛇屋 with Flaming Mane to burn the branches and reach the serpent quest items. Tiger Cannon opens the blocked wall at the northern end of the tunnel near 悬崖山舍.

屏息绑带 ↗
In the bandit camp, answer the thief’s questions using the stolen jade belt, butterfly and missing-person clues in the blood-written letter. Collect the reward before the Bai Chilian finale.
静心小葫芦 ↗
Treat all four injured thieves for 玉儿’s 救死扶伤 quest in Crimson Forest, then return to the bandit camp.
弦音护符 ↗
Defeat Bai Chilian in Crimson Forest.
机簧护心镜 ↗
Obtain Bastion Shield from the gatekeeper in Village of Lu. Return to 飞贼营地地牢, drop to the lower floor and use the shield to reach the chest.
Open each accessory for its effect and full acquisition route.
Boss encounters
剑痴：花千笑
When he drinks, retreat to the other end of the bridge. His temporary shield becomes Sha-Chi after drinking and then drains; close in as it runs low to break his guard.
亡命徒：荆野
After he dismounts, avoid striking the thorn shield with ordinary attacks: it reflects damage. Dread Axe’s charged sequence removes shield durability. Evade the black-light rush hidden behind the ground smoke.
拳痴：铁狂
His frequent, readable attacks provide defensive openings. Maintain Sha-Chi while blocking and watch the red-light finisher of each chain. Desperate Cavalry Blade can restore health when it hits.
双蛇夫人：白赤练
Collect all six 虚空 memory flowers to enable 弦音’s assistance in phase two. When summoned creatures fill the arena, defeat two of them to break the boss’s guard. Evade the three spinning thrusts.
